Blue Beetle (DC Extended Universe)

Origin : Ted Kord, a brilliant scientist, engineer and new CEO of Kord. Some ago, after going to explore an island near their town known as Pogo Island together with their friend Dan. They found a kind of underground laboratory. The laboratory contained several items, advanced technology, among these items a blue Scarab was the one that caught the attention of the two. As they left the lab, they accidentally activated the alarms, awakening their guards, two androids. In the fight, Dan seemed to have activated the Scarab, turning him into some kind of knight, however, during the fight he and the androids made the structure fall, destroying the androids and killing Dan. Ted managed to survive, taking the Scarab And vowing to honor Dan's name, discovering who had done it all. Ted began investigating both the laboratory and Scarab, finding that most of it was all filed in the name of his late uncle, Jarvis. Imagining that someone had used his uncle's identity for this, Ted decided to take it into his own hands, he tried to reactivate the Scarab, however, the Scarab would not activate. Ted then managed to create a suit that enhances his physical abilities and strength. Along with the suit and a training in Martial Arts, Ted became a type of superhero, calling himself the Blue Beetle.
